i NEED to race an s2000

alot of people auto X the S2000 I know of one team that races in the Mid-west Honda challenge, http://www.teamtoilet.com/ , alot of dough they dropped on preparing the s2000. I have seen a few people with BMW M3 and Vipers, they race them as well, BMW and VIPER have their own club with their own track events they race alot.

p.s. don't tell the Mustang guys but the TEAM toilet S2000 beat them on the track

Dont worrie about telling them,most of them will admit that an import will rock them on a track with turns. But most of the time the Mustangs will win on the straights. Its ok tho, my 300ZX will take a stang on the straights and in the corners

Most Mustang owners are pretty good about that kind of thing. They know the limitations of there car and have the balls to say that they can be beaten by an import. The ones that dont are usualy younger guys who think that because it has lots of powere that nothing can touch it.

But let whomever think whatever they like. Cause when it comes down to it, the know what is the truth, and if they dont the will when they lose.

So for the same or near the same money you can ppick up an EVo. They are faster, and handle better, launch better. As does the STi.

Do one here was trying to diss the SRT-4, but now your arguing about it has made it look that way. You need to understand that there are better vehicles out there in the same price range.

PS: PT Cruiser Turbo and SRT-4, Same thing, the SRT-4 just has 10 more hp, and a different body. O and the PT cruiser is built on the same platform as the SRT-4.

i was only adding the cars that i would have a chance with. thats why i didnt add the sti and evo. srt-4 are quick but they are ugly, not to mention its a neon 4door! hey turbo944 your not saying the pt cruiser is as fast as the srt-4 r u? cause ive beat a pt cruiser from a stop and got about 2 cars by 70

Nope, not sayin git is as fast, just saying that the cars are almost identical in the design aspect. Both have the 2.4 liter DOHC 4cylinder, the PT just has 10less hp. But it weighs more and is uglier than the SRT-4.

The SRT-4 is deffinetly faster than the PT but they are VERY similar. Sorry, i said it a little confusing in the last post.

just a few comments, i heard the srt-4 runs 13's straight outta the box since their high torq is so helpful in the launch, my friend wanted to get one for the speed so i did a bit of reading, but it is true that the suspension def cant compete with the imports, also for the s2k its 240 hp and 153 tq so saying its 140 wtq is proly very close but bear in mind that the s2k has 80% of the tq available at about like 3500 rpm so the tq comes in mad fast as long as your not trying to stretch the gears that far even though it is a high revving motor, but personally i dont think the gs-r can take an s2000 since the teg only beats the s2000 in weight cause its about 200 lbs lighter but the s2000 has 70 more hp, and 15 more tq, so in my opinion unless your a better driver and get a much better launch you wont be able to beat it. but thats just my 2c ive never seen an integra race an s2000 just speculating.

it seems like ever since dodge made a decent performance car under $70k (that handles like shit for its price) all these domestic lovers get this big head and think they can own everything... and even though the neon has high torque it is still fwd which doesnt help it at all... the 350z already has turbos out that put down 417hp at the wheels without n/e other mods and the car is pretty much new... the dodge neon cant touch the capabuilities of the z... im expecting z's in the thousands in a couple years, though it may not happen since it doesnt come from the show room with turbos..

oh yeah... and cheap (since u are talking the neons price) is not attractive to women... lol if i pulled up in a geo metro with a swapped v8 and smoked a guy in a z06 i doubt they would be flockin

Well, it looks like i will be buying a Nissan 350Z Track edition in the near feature (a week or so) and i will see which car is faster. I have a friend with an SRT-4 and ill race him. We will see which is faster on the road.

And which one people like better.
