no bad sides here. i just tell it like it is. i'm not into "i am better than you," either. but i am not going to just sit here, look at drawings, and say "great, dude," or "good, cool," when it is clear that there is room for improvement. otherwise, we are all just being fake and safe. and that does not make anyone a better artist. why should fellow artists be fake and safe when most of society goes that way? i can tell instantly who is on the right track, and who is clueless and talentless. the guy drawing the skyline R34 is talented. and i want him to get better.

because i am a dumb-a$$, i cannot post pics on here. but i can give you my web page addy. go to: www.visualhomage.com

there are samples of storyboards there. the site will evolve as i shift the company more into dealing directly with import-tuner people/companys.

cheers.

This is probably the best and worst part of being an "artist." It allows you to receive input as to how you can improve or do something better but it also can be somewhat degrading because people often can be sort of harsh in the critique but it is only to make your work better. Most "artists" are notorious procrastenators (sp?) and can always give you excuses for below talent/sub-par work, but honestly rushing/disinterest will not be worthy excuses if you plan on pursuing ANY career, much less one in the arts because you almost always will be on tight schedules or maybe something you are too thrilled with.

It is obvious you have skills homes, so just take all the criticism in and use it to make your next one even hotter! It is ironic to me that the thing you said was not good (shading) is probably the best quality of it.

Re: Skyline

Oh, I forgot to say that it is nicely shaded (for a hurried job) and also that the only thing is that the wheels are off.
