_ The rear springs are a Barrel type spring and they cannot be cut. So you would have to heat them. I have spent many hours talking with spring producers and heating will work but it is very bad for the spring.

-Your best bet is to find a shop willing to cut linier rate springs to fit. Price will be around $280.00-350.00. Still not a proper drop.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Eibach Springs?

I was kidding, but spring heating is kind of a lost art. People have been doing it since way before we were born with almost no failure when done right. It's the "almost" part that you need to be concerned about. Slow heating in the correct area will allow a yield rate without losing the original grain orientation or changing the Rockwell hardness beyond two tenths of a point. To get the same compression on all related(two or four)coils takes special equipment also. This is why people stopped doing it. The labor will cost the same as a new set now that technology and machinery can create so many combinations so quickly.

rear. You might call the manufacturer and ask if the 95-96
springs work on a '97. I don't see why they wouldn't unless
they had a major suspension change between years.

Good luck!

Unfortunately, I don't think this place is still in business anymore. And if they are, they don't deserve anyone's business. They haven't answered their phones in five days. They don't return emails or faxes or phone messages. Bummer.

I doubt it. I just don't see any way I can justify spending $500 on springs.

Be patient and keep saving for them. They are done right so they will be safe for you and/or your family and you will always be happy with a top of the line product. It's only a couple hundred more.

Acutally, I'd rather go without than spend that kind of money. The stock springs seem to work just fine.
