Re: Flat Black

if you want it to look clean ( and by clean i mean not like total shtttt) it would cost a bit more but you could take it o a shop and havre them paint it Ducati flat black. its the black that ducati uses on their motorcycles if you didnt know. ive seen a few cars with it and i think it looks pretty good.

Re: Flat Black

My car at the moment is 350Z blue, the next car im getting is silver. I dont give my car shit paintjobs to make a statement. and just because someone says something somewhat remotely insulting to you you feel they are automatically a noob and think they must believe only they know about drifting? Sorry I dont sit online all day racking up posts, obviously you have more so you MUST know more than me. This drifting forum is more concentrated on people asking how to drift, how do I make my car look like a drifter, and constant threads about bandwagon jumpers and people convincing themselves someday their civic will be accepted as a drifter. So I try not to frequent this board much. Get over yourself, you sound insecure to me. And if it makes you feel better go watch you option videos and slap some of them stickers on your "anti-showcar" paintjob...or are you still unsure as how to spray a can of paint on your car?

Re: Flat Black

don't start trash talking me for saying somethign about you, your the one who jumped on me for no reason at all, I never said anything about wanting my car flat black to look like a drifter or be like the car in the magazine, you just assumed it, so I made my assumptions of you... and I have no stickers on my car probably never will... yea I'm insecure, but only when someone like you is standing behind me

Re: Flat Black

What does this have to do with drifting? Are you scared to do it yourself?
Hell! I'll PRIMER your car for you if you want! I'll wet/water-sand it then do my magic! Buy all the supplies! Wet/water-sand-paper and 8-9 cans of flat black KRYLON! All I ask in return is a tune-up on my new Z! Fair?

Re: Flat Black

If you don't feel like doing it yourself, take the car to a body shop, and tell them to get rid of the gloss in the paint they use. I think it's called flattener or something. If they add that, it flattens the finish.

Some folks like to use primer, but this approach(and the spray cans) is better(more durable), since it is actual paint.

...Exactly. Stop whimpering and pick up the can.

But yes, I'll close it cause it's a useless thread.
