Ok, I'm convinced...

I was going to say those first couple looked a little fishy, but the last one looks legit...

The others prolly are too, it's just that when they skew the intensity values of torque and hp, the two lines don't cross at the right spot and aren't a true comparison against one another...

Yah its just that if you look on each side the Hp and Tq arent aligned the same. It should cross at 5250rpm, but I guess to save space they do it that way

Re: me vs. current gen mustang GT

DkShadow, I'm not trying to start another "thing" here, but how do we know that those graphs are from completely-stock cars, and even if so, how do we know that they weren't some kind of factory-freak?

I'm only saying that, because my link, where they were happy with the cars performance, the dyno is lower, and they call the numbers respectable, as in normal.

Showing the best possible dyno for a particular stock car doesn't mean that ALL the same stock cars will dyno such.

I traced back the first sheet you gave, and that sheet, though the car is stock, he has an air-silencer removed. As I am not that familiar with Mustangs, I cannot say how that will affect his dyno at a certain temperature.
http://home.golden.net/~trinity/Dyno/dyno.htm

Going back to my link, there is a dyno video where you can hear the car, and hear that it is, in fact, stock.

I am not saying your claim is bogus, but just posting a picture of a dyno-sheet won't be enough for me, when the evidence I found is a lot more compelling, and it does contradict yours, especially the 230-235RWHP part of it.

The air silencer mod is almost worthless to the new stangs. If you look at the Dyno sheet, you can see that he even lost some horsepower but only gained an extra hp or 2 on peak compared to stock.

The link that you gave had them dyno a 99. I believe that they tested their first 99 GT. I would assure you the majority of the 99+ GTs would be dynoing over 220 hp.

Re: me vs. current gen mustang GT

standard trasmission equipped cars lose about 15% from crank to the wheels. maybe 20 on an auto.
