and how isnt it walking out of the block? no matter if its .009" or 5" - its still "walking" out of the block. a friend of mine's old 97 GST had it very bad, to were you could actually look up at the pully and see it moving. at first we thought the pulley insert had went bad, and he needed a new pulley. but in the end CW got it.

You know what you mean, and I know what you mean. But I can already see posts all over the place about how when DSMs crankwalk the crank shoots out the sid of the block taking out mailboxes and small children as you drive by.
