how would his friend look like a hypocrite by going with the S14 conversion?

Good GOD! It looks pretty good in the picture, but I want to see it in person. The nasty white mesh needs to go... especially in that front grill. Was this an integra? Looks like an expensive project!

I think it's a 96 civic that was for sale on ebay...yes it does look like an expensive project. I'm not sure if he had other pics up. I'll check and if he does, I'll post the actual link.

Just looking at the picture, the only thing I don't really like is that he put the BMW symbol and the canards on the front bumper. I think the carnards add a nice touch on show cars but I don't think they look good there. Maybe because they're so low and they seem to stick out kind of far.
Now I'm judging this from a show perspective...

I love BMWs but thumbs down on this conversion. I most definitely respect the amount of work put into it and the quality of the work (from what I can see), but the mesh can be dropped, theres just a few million too many decals on the front end alone (who knows what the rest looks like), and I dont really like when people do conversions and switch the emblems. I say shave it alltogether or keep the good ol H (or A)

Re: S14 conversion

If i can throw my two cents in here, im in socal i've seen a couple jdm itr conversions rollin around so i would get the s14 conversion. Btw would any of you know what light bulb would go in the itr conversion or s14, 9006 ?

Re: S14 conversion

i'm gonna agree with the fact that it's a win-win situation. however, i do favor the itr over the s14 conversion for a few reasons.

1) jdm is always the way to go (IMO)
2) s14 isn't very "exotic", i.e. there are 240sx's rolling around town with the same front end
3) i appreciate the idea of a JDM/same car conversion rather than a completely different car conversion.
4) i'm in love with itr's....
