Re: pro mod f40

thanx but...
i dont really have any tricks, or tips. this is my first chassis, but if i was pressed to say something it would have to be: take your TIME!!! and study HARD!!! oh yah and test fit, test fit, test fit, test fit, test fit, test fit, test fit, test fit, test fit!!!!!!
one trouble i am running into right now is the headers on the driver side, the steering linkage is right in the way, as well as the a-arms. but since the f40 started out as a mid engine car there was never much room up front to start with. i will think of something tho.

Re: Re: Re: pro mod f40

I thought you custom built the chassis for this car? Well, here's my suggestion: MODIFY! I never have, or ever will(maybe in some cases) built a stock model except paint, but that was way back when I didn't modify.

Re: pro mod f40

'86, i did scratch build the chassis as well as the headers, and just about everything else, but i don't know the future, and being that this is my first time, i fucked up, as one might think, but just a little bit. i did manage to get the headers to work without your suggestion, thanx any way tho....

Re: Re: pro mod f40

Pretty much. I can't build a stock model, even if all I add are different rims, a cat-back exhaust, and a custom intake with custom paint. I think I've only built like 3-5 stock models. But they had custom paint. That's cool you made it fit. I'm honestly looking forward to seeing a 5 or so second scale F40. Keep up the good work with it.
