Its not going to be incredibly unreliable because of the nitrous, unless you are stupid. Then, just like anything that adds that much HP it could be a bad thing. But obviously just like a small turbo, its not to be abused if you're not taking extra precations to keep your engine safe. Run a relativley small shot (50ish) and some colder spark plugs, and you should be fine. And I assume you're not going to be squeezing alll the time, so you'll probably be alright.

I wanted nitrous so bad, because I want 200+hp and that is the quickest cheapest way to get me there. Things that have held me back from it are: 1) My car is my daily driver and I often have my girlfriend with me.. To have a bottle of compressed gas in the car seems like kind of a bad idea if an accident to occour. So, the saftey issue kinda pushed me to not buy it. 2) Also, the bottles aren't cheap to refill! I could see that cost building up.. Its like having another damn tank of gas.

I would usually only be using it on the day I go up to the meet, but I could just see me with no2, I'd be trying to knock off everything I pull up to, so I think the engine is a better way to go. If anyone can post any info they have on the JDM D15 please do. I know nothing about it.

Its pretty much the same motor as the D16Z6.
