Re: Re: Wow, this forum has died.....

Damn, I had no idea there would be people who feel the same way I do Yeah, I think a lot of people on the org spend more time talking about it then actually driving. What bothers me the most that there are individuals that seem like they're just looking for posts by newbs just to flame them regardless the issue. Anyway, despite those freaks, the org is ok, but yes, I agree it's more lay back here, and I like it

Wow, you all hit it right on the head. It IS like HS over there, everyone trying to bring themselves a notch up by bringing anybody they can a notch down. Also like HS though, you can't run away if they make fun of you. Stick it out, they quickly forget who they flamed in the first place.

I've been flamed on that board plenty of times but it's all a learning experience. The majority of people on there are good guys. For those that aren't, roll your eyes and move on to the next thread or post. Sticks and stones guys, sticks and stones.

As for moderators, technically it IS Igor, but in reality we don't have one at all. There used to be 2 moderators, "Igor@IF" and "MaximaDriver".

Igor is the guy the guy that runs the entire automotiveforums.com site, he is way too busy to actual police every forum there is.

MaximaDriver hasn't been on here in a long time, he's the guy that created MaximaDriver.com. He's a mod over on the ORG now, name is chebosto over there. He's since abondoned both AF and MaximaDriver.com

Yeah, Cheston isn't on the org much either...Well that I've noticed. He's got TT350Z so I'm sure he's probably on some Z forums. He seems like an alright guy though. Better than some of the Mods over at the org. I won't name any names.

I try to check in on both here and the org when I get a chance, but I'm a bit of a newb so a lot of the time I'm just sitting back and learning at thing or two.

Wow! It's funny to see people saying all the things I've always known about the org over here. I actually only belong to a few forums including the org, a Jeep forum, and an AMD motherboard forum where I now have over 2000 posts. I've been a member on the org for well over two years now and I have 6 posts total .

Watching those guys over there reminds me of my days in 6th grade at recess. It's like they are trying to be the most immature wise asses they can be. There are some very good members but it really seems like the idiots outnumber them 10-1. I think that as more people get tired of all the games at the org they will start looking for more Maxima forums without all the flames, politics, and donations.

Re: Wow, this forum has died.....

Yeah, the org is a weird site because you have to donate to do a search, I find that weird because it is the 53rd most commonly used site on the whole entire internet but yet they need funds just to be able to operate a simple function that you can use here for free.

Alot of people over there are always trying to one up the other just to post how much they know in order to up or keep their Max knowledge reputation.

Hey, I really don't give a damn how much or how little I know about the Max because I know the most important thing of all about it and that is driving the bi@tch.

I barely have time to come here nowadays, with work and all, but I make my cameo appearance every now and then
