Re: This importing thing
I have appendix A.
Its always funny reading this stuff. Most people are so clueless. Its always the same . Someone wants to get a car . Comes up with some scheme. After a while . They read , they start to understand . They argue with me . I set them straight. They start to understand its not a cut and dry ,easy process . To do it legally is very difficult. Illegally , just have to know the right people. |

Sean,
I am completely changing the drive train in one of my GTRs. Engine, Tranny, and Rear from a 1970 Mustang. Do I still need to go through MotoRex when I bring it back?

I purchashed a GTR rolling shell.
The car was stripped of everything. It would have cost me well over the cars value to put it right again. So, I figured I would install a 393 with a pretty big turbo on it. Thanks for the information. I might have to change my plan.

Re: This importing thing
You could do it the other way pretty easy. Newer motor in an older chassis.
But the other way around , they are weird about. Not my rules . I just know them and have to follow them. |

Trust me, I know they are not your rules.
Thanks for the heads up.

Hehe, so true Sean. *Rememebers his hours of reading CFR* I did manage to learn alot about import crash test standards. I like the leak tests when they test how long before what fluids leak when the vehicle overturns, is on it's side ect ect :P
