lets both buy stock s13s. you put coilovers on with stock rims with some reasonably priced all season tires. i'll get some 13, 14, 15, 16, or even 17" diameter by 8" wide rims and put some toyo ra-1s on them and welll take a run around a track. k? driver's skill aside, who do you think would win? i'd like to place a $10000 bet on myself.

that's a joke, right?
if you had no grip, you would understeer like a mutha fu*ka- and that is NO fun. and if you have a cheap tire with weak sidewalls, your car will seriously feel like absolute mush around every tiny turn. yeah, tires have that much of an impact on performance.
