Just got a front and rear alignment, couldn't believe the difference! Never thought that would make it seem easier to turn.

This is my second 4G - from a GL to a SiR and both have PS and I have NEVER lost control of either in 6 years of owning 4Gs - let alone other performance cars with PS.

not always true. PS is hince taken off all SCCA cars for touring racing for that reason and in all drag cars it is taken off also hince making powersteering alittle on the dangerous side for serious racers.

My 90 STD Hatch was a bitch to turn (and I have the forearms to prove it after three years )...but my 90 Si is MUCH easier to turn...it might be model dependant.

But like the other guys said:

Tire Size, Air (tires), speed at which driving.

Also like they said:

Check ALL ball joints, controls arms, tie rod ends...anything to do with the actual turning of the vehicle....perhaps check your wheel bearings to while you're at it

...you don't hear any kind of "clunking" while turning do you? That would be an axle problem...

...other than that...get used to it...4G hatches can just be a bitch to turn at low speeds. I had a rental car a couple of weeks ago from an accident I had...it had PS...blech!...I was all over the road for the first two days I had it...wayyyy to touchy for my liking.
