When people list their mods like that and call it "the works" it really makes me wonder. do they mean they have more mods... or some kind of takeaway from KFC?

Either their were some fat bastards on those bikes or the works... means NOS or something..? because the works sure isn't a chip and exaust...

I love racing bikes too, but one of those would be over 120mph in the time it takes your car to get to 60mph.. and they will keep going.. unlike you..

that's not excluding itself..... 4 cylinders and still VTEC IS POSSIBLE
for example, a Honda Civic has 4 cylinders and has VTEC.
However, VTEC is only a Honda thing...

This isn't my only story, but it is the only race I've gone more than 0-60 with. This race happened about year ago, when my car was still pulling strong. In my stock 89 Towncar, I raced 00 Acura 3.2 TL. It was at about 10:30-11:00 at night, fourlane divided highway. We were at a light and neither or us were revving and when the light turned green, neither of us wanted the other to be behind. So after about a half second, we both had floored, and i was pulling away, by 60 i didn't have more than half a car legnth, and i assumed it was over, so i let off. He keeps going and goes right by me, so i floor it again. We end up doing this for about another 2 miles, and end up flying through some light traffic, but because of it im not able to be next to him at a light, only right behind him and there is no where to pass him. He pulls awy cause i get blocked by a car, but I catch up to him over a bridge where he slows up but i floor it and almost pass him before he gets on the brakes to turn around after he realizes his car isn't as fast as mine.

A lot of four banger Hondas have V-Tech. Still V-Tech is no big deal anyways. A lot of people are too stupid to even know what it is.

LOL, it is a magic thing that is like turbo, but not and makes you go real fast and sound cool LOL

Most car companies have their own form of VTec now. Nissan have their VE engines.

SR16VE N1, 196 HP .. i will take that thanks

The person who told the story about the Volkswagen and the CBR Honda 900 motorcycle does not have a clue.

Perhaps if the Volkswaged driver was in a ZO-6 Corvette and told how he wore down a CBR on the curves I would understand.

My advice is to stay away from motorcycles. I can see a nightmare when the motorcycle goes over and there is a critical injury or even death. When your in a car stay away from motorcycles.

I would not even look at any Volkswagen who wanted to race me. They are just a grocery getter.

HAHAHA, exactly. I knew a guy that thought V-Tech was a turbo, and another guy that thought it was a fuel additive. The guy that thought it was a turbo. I asked him to show me the turbo on his car just to humiliate him. First he pointed to his air cleaner, next he pointed at his radiator. I just laughed and said, you know nothing about cars.
I heard that ford used to have something called Z-Tech.

As for my story. Driving the Spyder yesterday and a Camero SS lined up with me. Those are strong runners so I upped the boost to 17psi which is high as I want to go so I dont damage my turbos. The race was to the next light since thats a natural ending point. I tacked up to 4500 and I could hear his exhaust rumbling like a tank and on the green we were gone. Actually, I was gone. The AWD just bit into the pavement and launched just perfect. I think his tires broke loose so he lost several car lenghts in short order. When he pulled up he gave the thumbs up, but I could tell he was itching to go again. But it'll have to wait since there was some traffic turning in front of us. Next time it might be different, but for now the Spyder was king!

V-Tec

V-Tec is a cam-based enhancement on the Honda/Acura engines. It isn't fuel-based, or displacement-based. although better than stock honda/acura engines, they still suck. Oh yeah, and all V-tec's are 4 cylinders, there isn't a such thing as a 6 cylinder V-Tec

VTEC was introduced by Honda in 1990 on the NSX's 3L V6.

All four stroke engines suck, squish, bang and blow. I'm sure that's what you mean.
