Re: Re: AMT eclipse FAST AND THE FURIOUS STYLE!

That's not how they should be. You should be able to see them alot better than that. Picture this, your pushing 165mph in a parking lot on litely modded turbo 4g63 in 5th gear, you can't see your gauges, something decides to go wrong, your electronic boost controller decides to go haywire (cause your too cheap to buy a good one, so you buy a second hand one that's been remanufactured. You end up chucking a piston because your boost flies up, this all coulda been prevented if you coulda seen the damn gauges. (I've never dealt with turbo motors before, so this story might be off, but you get the idea.)

yea ur right.. almost all true

but if ur boost controller goes haywier, Theres nothing u can do.. It will Detenate (too much boost, backfire i belive)... andU can definently FEEL it.... so what ud never get into 4-5 gear because ud feel it as soon as the turbos spool and ..... GO!!...

my bros car detenates on 93 octane.. It needs 94! at 15Psi...

Re: AMT eclipse FAST AND THE FURIOUS STYLE!

Well, as I said I've never dealt with turbo cars, only superchargers, constant boost 2500rpm and up, that's the way I like it.

Re: AMT eclipse FAST AND THE FURIOUS STYLE!

are you doing the sparco pedals? Oh yeah, how about some Takata racing harnesses? walmart sells this thin ribbon , already green, just print the logos and superglue them on there. I assume this car has a tach built in the dash? Did you make the cage yet, you know it's gotta be green.

Lookin good so far, if you wanna replicate the rims use the Yokohama model 7's kinda look like the ones from the movie. better than the ones you have on now.

Looks good. Put some lower profile tires on them wheels, angle the exhaust upward more and tilt it a tad and it should look nice

Ok Tegra, just so we're clear, the pictures (more like diagrams, show the 8, 10 ,12, and 14 pt. roll cages. What I do is recreate an 8pt cage, then add the points from the ten, and you have a cage for your car.

Start with making a 4pt bar:

Then add tube to make it an 8pt cage:

Then add more to make it a 10pt cage:
