And therein lies the problem. Had this guy started a new thread, he would have had 50 people all jumping on his back, saying he's an ass, and telling him to search. Granted, reviving old threads is a drag, but had he started a new one it would still bump new threads down a bit. Ah what do i care, i'm going to go shoot myself.

It's not just that. I mean, a genuine question, hey, sometimes it is realevant, so why not be polite and answer. It's when people who ask or answer don't read the rest of the thread above, and therefor start giving bad advice, like happened in this thread when 2002Drew recommended the AEM by-pass valve to solve all hydrolock possiblity. If they would have read the previous posts, they would have know this only helps when the ENTIRE filter is submerged. Point it out, answer the question, and they get snitty. Point out the question is answered, let it die, and they get like he was above.

There are timed when people understand an old thread being brought back, it's when someone like 2002Drew above revived an old thread after more than a month (5 weeks) to say nothing constructive at all...

that it becomes a problem. You have a genuine question and something relevant bumped down the list so someone can mouth off and say something like that.

Does Short Ram Intake seriously help low end torque over the Cold Air Intake. I am lackin torque and actually thought CAI was the best way to go expecially when it tends to get really hot in the summer.

By the way, i was readin a dyno chart on aempower.com and the torque was higher with a CAI than with a Short Ram Intake. Matter of fact, torque gains were higher then hp gains with CAI whereas the opposite can be said with Short ram air.
