Ha, a friend I work with is from the philippines, he was like 20 when he left, he's around 40 now. He has the same mentality you do. All he talks about is fast cars and shooting people, lol.

Who me?

I grew up with American and British teachers, besides Filipino, who were meticulous about teaching me "proper" English and grammar...which might explain why I read/wrote/spoke better english when I moved here than the kids that were born here.

Everything I learned about cars, I learned in the U.S., and everything I needed to know about shooting, I learned in the U.S. military, although I don't remember mentioning anything about guns here.

USAF, last stationed at Luke AFB, AZ...joined straight out of high-school.

Tell your buddy that the current cut-off for joining Military-service (or any Federal position) is 35, unless he's some kind of Medical professional, like Nurse or above.

Yeah, I was in the army. Those Air Force bastards were getting paid a hundred bucks more just for "HAVING TO LIVE" on an Army base. Everythiing was below their standards. He was thinking a long time ago, when he first came to the U.S. He wouldn't do it now, but he talks about weapons all the time...and how he wants to get an M3.
