Well, the 7 gens better be pretty damn sweet. Cuz soon the Maxima (which the Accord used to be direct comp with) is inching its way to 300hp and sports sedan status. And the Altima with 240 is pretty nice. Even though I see much more 4 cyl Altimas on the road.

The CL/TL S engine would be nice on the accrd, but I get the feeling that wont happen initialy.

They better have a nice design too. A nice look with a more powerful engine will have the Altima sucking the Accord's tailpipes again as it had been doing for the past 10 years.:finger:

LONG LIVE THE 6 GENS!!!!

2000 BABY! :finger:

not 1 motor Honda has is able to match Nissan...so they're not gonna play catch up, just let sales do the talking. so, we gotta buy aftermarket - as usual.

what is so great about the K24 over the H23? besides being a new block & VTEC?

Besides just the hp? Not much I guess, but the bottom line when choosing an engine is how much power you will get out of it.

QUESTION: Does i-VTEC (On 2002+ Honda engines) kick in any earlier than VTEC?

And does it have as many MHz as VTECH???

I dont know, its supposed to work on both the intake and the exhaust ends of the combustion chamber, to provide max power.

This is the concept drawing for the current 6th generation accord this is being built now. In other words that picture is like 4 or 5 years old. When i first saw it, i realized this and then i later read drift confirming it. I mean think about it, it looks almost exactly the same as the current model.

What is this trend with Japanese automakers putting these swept back headlights on their cars?? I dont like em. The rest of the body looks a little too much like the current civic.

ya i think your all correct. it looks a lot like the new skyline, and the new pemira (infiniti G20 US) over here. they all have that style of headlights with the bulging grille that looks as if the car has a big smile.
