just like motorex, i've seen 2 other stats with the 0-60 in 4.7
i'm kinda a 1/4mile freak, i go by 1/4mile times
but at the same time, if it does go 0-60 in 4.7 it probably runs the 1/4mile in 13.4 or 13.3
nah ignore that, you can't really tell.

this car has dif stats everywhere
oh and my stats came from supercars.net
and some other place i found in yahoo.

Re: Battle of the beasts

It also matters on the person driving.

Okay, we all know everything on the R34, but what's up the the 3000GT? all i know is that it has turbo, AWD, 6-cyl, 1.5tons, and is pretty fast compared to other cars.

You guys have to keep in mind that stats like curb weight, 0-60, 1/4 mile, and those sort of things vary by conditions, drivers, and model years. All stats won't be EXACTLY the same. Hell...I was grabbing every magazine I saw that had the 350Z in it when it came out...the 0-60 times varied from as low as 5 all the way up to 5.6...these things vary. I've seen the times for the 1990-1996 300ZX TT 0-60 quoted as low as 5.2 seconds and as high as 5.8.

The stats I gave for the R34, VR4, 300ZX (if you REALLY want me to, I can varify this for sure. I have a 1992 300ZX dealer brochure...I can tell you ANYTHING you want to know about this car), the RX7, and the Supra are accurate. Check the sites I used. They are dependable sites.

Also...keep in mind...weight is the easiest thing to modify on a car...just start rippin shit out.

Re: Battle of the beasts

What were the names of the first 2 cars in this thread? R34 and 3000GT! I'm not asking about Supras. They suck on the 1/4 and track because of their FR. AWD cars get more tracking and better launch off at a dead start.

did you say supra's suck in the 1/4
ok, 13.5 really sucks ha
not IMO

91-93 vr4's run 13.9 300hp 305lbs of torque
97-99 run 13.5 320hp 315lbs of torque 3.0liters twin intercooled etc....

the other years are inbetween like 13.7 and so forth, but don't qoute me on that.

Go to lycos and just do a search for "3000GT VR4". There is quite a following for this car and there is massive amounts of info out there that's not hard to find.

What's the engine name for the 3000GT? If you just mention RB26 to any real car man they know what your talking about.(skyline's full name is RB36DETT)
No- there has never been an RB series engine more than 3 litres..........Unless you meant RB26DETT- which everybody knows in the first place
