Give me a break people, unfair advantage or not, the Maxima is in the same class as the Accord V6 and the Camery V6. Who cares if it has more power than the other two?

as far as i know, the honda accord and toyota camry are in the midsize class of cars...together with the nissan altima. and the nissan maxima is under the full size class of cars same with the mitsubishi diamante. and examples of subcompact cars are the honda civic, mitsubishi lancer, nissan sentra and the like. i may be wrong but that is from what i know.

and VenomInMyVeins, i dont think you separate the class of cars because of its power but by the size of the vehicle itself.

The Accord and Camry look to be the same size as the Maxima. Also, price, isn't the Altima less than the Accord and Camry? It doesn't really matter, you can still get the Altima with the V6 and wipe the floor with the other two all day. I would still take the Altima. Anyhow, the thread starter never brought class into it anyhow, he just wanted to know which one you would take.

the accord and camry may look to be the same size as the maxima, but if you notice nissans line up, from subcompact to midsize to fullsize...it would go sentra to altima to maxima respectively. i may be wrong but thats as far as i know.

yes class of cars couldve been said at first to avoid confusions.

Re: Maxima V6 vs Accord V6 vs Camry V6

I'll have the Accord Seppo V6-L Mugen 191 Kw, luxury, Mugen body kit + Exhaust and Luxury-trim spec and cheper than a Maxima and Camry ($50,100)

But in reality, I'll have the smaller Euro 2.4 6 Speed, thanks and save $15,000 and spend the rest on getting it up to the spec level of the Euro L and have plenty left over. Or even a (shock) Vectra CDXi 3.2 :o

The 177Kw Maxima is next- but I don't like the idea of a detuned VQ, I'd prefer it with the proper 206Kw power.

The Camry V6- well 'nuff said.

Re: Maxima V6 vs Accord V6 vs Camry V6

This was maxima vs accord vs camry... it wasn't based off of a class of car. I believe that the maxima doesn't fit into this competition. i believe that it's too powerful, and not in the same class as the others.
