sorry... that was a typo... I ment ecu. As foar as the Tranny goes it was the same as the tbi and turbo 1 and turbo 2's from 87-90 .the only one that was different was the turbo IV wich had stronger components, but the same ratios.

Actually, 87-89 TBI's and T1's got the A520. T2's got the A555. 89 TIV got the small spline A568. In 1990, all tranny's were large spline. TBI's and T1's got the A523, T2's and T4's got the A568 large spline. Same with the T3.
The 555 and 568 were made by Getrag of Germany and had extremely strong components.
The 520 and 555 did NOT have the same ratios at all. Neither did the 523 and 568, all different.

Sorry, pwman's right...I just found all the stats, There are ways around the different sized splines though, and all the transmisssions have been used on the turba cars at one point. In any case, the one in oyur car should be able to do the job no problem, The only thing you should do is get rid of the long drive axle on the passanger side and replace it with the 2 shaft disign, it helps with the torque steer. Theres a really good transmission guide at http://www.thedodgegarage.com/trans_guide.html He tells u what transmissions were used for what years and what vehicles..

u need to add 1 more thing to your list, the underhood wiring harness, sorry, forgot about that 1.
1)underdash wiring kit
2)ECU
3)Vacume lines and plumbing
4)Turbo engine
5)under hood wiring
6)power module
7)solinoids
yeah, thats it!!

the best thing to do is get a "donor car" Then it's a matter of putting all the parts from the donor car in the same place in your car, that way you have a real life visual guide!!!
