well then you should forget what you think you know, the first gen b16a (which is what he is talking about, i know of NO ONE who sells an EDM B16a1 stateside) would require EXTENSIVE work to make it work in his EK, first part is the wiring, next part is the tranny, catch my drift? and internally the first gen and second gen are DIFFERENT there is a .2 compression point difference as well as a different intake manifold and cams on the second gen, he should get the second gen b16a because he can get it OBD-2, Hydraulic transmission, etc...... edit: please dont go around telling people you know when you make a post about a b16a not dropping right into a CRX, because obviously you need to do more reading (not a bad thing) |

Are u sayin that he should go with a2 instead of first gen?? Either eay i would just get teh first gen NON OBD . ITs less work and first gen is better than second gen anyways. .2 compression doesn't make a world of difference. |

i am saying that if you have an OBD-0 vehicle, get an OBD-0 motor, if you have an OBD-1 vehicle get an OBD-1 motor, etc.....unless you want to be california smog legal, then for a b16a you will need to do an OBD-1 conversion..... |
