So do you know where the idle solenoid hooks up too?
You planning on going to the track after the swap?
Yea, I may give it a shot.
But in all the MPFI swap articles I have read it never says to use sheilded wires.
Yes, I still have the 3000 RPM redline.
I think the idle solenoid hooks up to the one hose that is not plugged up.
Its hard to describe if you look at the SI hose diagram you will see where it hooks to. http://www.binghamtonlife.com/manual...s/91-11-17.jpg
My car drives but it has really slow throttle response and will only rev to 3000 RPM.
The car also makes a high pitched squeal when you push on the gas.
I double checked again the injector plug wires and they are all soldered in the right places.
I am thinking it may be the Dizzy wiring.
Yes, I am also planning on taking it to the track when it actually gets finished.
Thanks

Sweet im curious on what time you will get, im going friday.
That high pitched sound is the vacuum leak.
I read all the how tos also and they never said anything about shieled wires.
I went to honda-tech.com and searched and people had the same problem and they said that was what the problem was.
Plus my car was doing the smame thing as yours, i put in shielded wires and it solved the problem.
Do you have a base 1/4 time with your car stock?

Yea I think thats the one also.
You say yours isnt hooked up?
Does your car have the same throttle response as B4 the swap?
My car has a lot slower throttle response and still wont go over 3000 RPM. Also the car is alot louder, it idles nice but is way to loud.
Thanks
P.S. If you have a AOL Screename it would be cool.
