CSC Report: after 12 hours, the clear plastic seems completely fine! That's more than enough time to remove acrylic paint.

S2000 Report: Body is semi-primed, more coats later. I'm going to pick up my dad's camera again, and stopping my the hobby store. I think they finally moved into their new building! So I just want to check it out.

When using CSC, WEAR GLOVES!!!!!!! It'll tear your skin up... That's bad.

Thanks for the tip...it would be a little tough to model with bloody stumps.

To get back on topic, so where's the pics of you current progress.

Due to my current film > develop > scan setup for posting pics, especially the part where I don't have a scanner, I cannot currently accomodate progress pics. Unless, of course, construction lasts several months, like the NSX did...

I now have a silver S2000 again (but in parts.) I'm really impressed with the shade of silver the Tamiya mix produces (X10:1+X11:2). Looks really good, and it's over the gray primer, just to keep it characteristically dark.

Next is finishing the interior. The seats and doors have been primed, and have a first coat of semi-gloss red, but need another for good coverage. They turing out nice and leathery, just like Guiddy's.

Progress reports will follow.

I sprayed a coat of clear on the body today and... ...when I came back out to look at it, there was a mess of dust dried in the paint.

I'll be doing a pinch of light sanding before I continure.

We don't have a microwave here but I found handing the model upside down really helps too.

I spray in a cardboard box with a lid outside, and I put the lid on for it to cure. I don't know what happened this time.

Sanding didn't fix it. The S2000 is back in the pickle jar full of CSC. Third time's a charm!
