Re: Spec V Upgrades
I have done a bunch of homework on the intakes for the Spec V. All of my homework leads to AEM producing the most power, both in torque and HP. I have had over 16 cars and modified all of them (including a 600+ hp mustang) and am very careful wih the part/ companies I use. I chose AEM and only paid $229 for a POLISHED unit delivered to my door. Whomever is saying that the intake is $300+ bucks doesn't know where to shop.
As far as headers go, most of the mags are raving about the Hotshot header being the most precise in construction and nearly the best in HP's. $349 a most online shops I have found. Some companies claim higher HP's but are you willing to fork out the bucks to get another 1-2 hp in a narror rpm range? That's p to you but such a little difference can be overcome by driver skill. www.coximports.com to those who want an AEM. Nice people and sweet prices. -Chris |

Re: Spec V Upgrades
I'd personally go with the INJEN CAI same power same price most places. And no problems with the lower brackets snaping off or cracking like the AEM. Also easy install and great breathing sound.
