I have a talon intercooler. Not yet installed. I don't have the CO2 thing on it, it was only something I saw was available. It's just something that mounts directly onto it, and you can spray it in like N2O. I was told you can just pick up some CO2 at a paintball shop or something. They'd fill the bottle.

My apologies. I thought Ntercooler was a typo for intercooler. I spray water on my intercooler. Every little bit helps. Jeesh, for what nitrous costs, why not spray it IN the engine instead of on the intercooler?

You can use co2 too, but it's safer this way. Besides who said you can't run it both way.
On the intercooler and in the engine along with a turbocharger. Sounds like a fun ride in the streets.

CO2 is sprayed in, not N2O...CO2 is much cheaper too...I doubt it's as dense or cold though. I have no reason to try until I get tired of the turbo. Hopefully that won't happen for awhile.

I don't think we're on the same page. This is what I am talk'n bout. http://www.intercoolertechniques.com/
This ain't the exact system I was talkin about but it runs on the same theories. Just to clear shit up I am NOT talkin bout an intercooler. I am talikn bout using co2 or nitrous to cool down air intake temps. gets you 50+ whp.

Whoever told you that is a freakin idiot. You can ALWAYS drop air temeratures of the charged air with nitrous, water, or some other means. The thing that people forget is that cold air is more dense than hot or warm air. So, even though you've been running 10psi with just your front mount, running 10psi spraying the NX kit into the FMIC will produce a LOT more power and a LOT more dense air. This can possibly blow your motor, depends how far on the edge of tuning you are. Room to play with is always good, that's why I believe in overkill when it comes to safety. IF you're going to use it, try dropping a couple of psi to make sure you're not going to lean out.

Hmm I never thought that using the sprayer could actually hurt or make your motor blow I thought it was really safe.

thanks for answering that.....i was wondering about it affecting the internals...cause more air more boom right? so how mush should you drop the psi if your gonna use it? any ideas....

My advice would be to NOT use it. If you have a front mount, you get more than enough airflow. I can see wanting to use that on something tiny like a DSM sidemount where it will get heat soaked while street driving, but not a front mount. If you want do drop your IAT's use an SMC kit www.smcenterprises.com that is PROVEN on the street to drop IAT's a ton, and most guys running alky/water kits run a 104-110 octane chip and can add 4-6 pounds of boost.

I ran the line under the fender lining. you can control how much comes out by the length of time you push the button. its hella tight. because i didn't strngthen the internals yet i had to turn the boost down, but you can feel the difference and i can't wait to sleeve it so i can run a higher boost with it.......the purge kit is pretty fun too........oh yeah i mounted the bottle behind my seat for now so i don't have to get out and opent the hatch everytime.....so over all its pretty good, kindo of expensive though, but there are some deals out there.....
