Same for me.

I learned A LOT thanks to you all.
Before I painted my models but I didn't even know what primer was and I never had the idea to polish my models : what a difference now !!! (and I'm still a beginner in these techniques).

For the money, well... my work takes me so much time that I don't have too much to buy models. So I don't spend so much in models.

Thanks to all of you and continue your work.

I might as well jump on the bandwagon and express my heartfelt thanks to the AF modelling community

I've learnt a lot from reading these threads over the last year, and my modelling skills have improved. Hopefully I'll be able to spend a bit more time practising them and improving even further, instead of doing DIY

Ditto....I learned practically everything I know about building model cars on this site. I still remember when I was asking people what primer to use with acrylic paints. I believe I've come a long way in the past 3-4 months all because of this message board. Thanks!

I agree all the above stated!

Af is not only a great place where minds that think alike go to chat, it's a fantastic place that helped me and my model skills a whole lot over the last year...

So everybody, thanks a lot.
Also, I do also see AF as a great place, not to talk about cars and models, but also to exercise my english skills, and I must thank everybody for trying to be nice, helpful and friendly...

Group hug ???

to keep it short, I agree with the previous statements in whole, wish I had a digital camera as I frequent this board but have this lingering feeling like I am not contributing like I should. well, the Silvia is done and I think you will all be pleasantly surprised when I post nice, clear picks SOON.

My paint work is now 98% perfect, I have panel lines, I have now mastered the use of putty which was one of my big problems. Scratch building bit is now fun not hard work. Attention to detail.

Downside is spending far too much money on models, wheels and supplies and S.A.S. Bits, always high on fumes.

You guys and this forum rock and seeing other peoples work, just inspires me more.

up to AF and all here that make it so fun.
Since you were registered before me I thought you were in the hobby for a long time and were always good.

What you said about Af is right and I totally agree.
