I didn't (and still don't) have cams in my P10. You cannot retain the header when you go turbo. I did keep the UR underdrive pulleys. I would have kept the lightened flywheel, but I got an aluminum one instead. That was it for engine mods.

Basically, you should be able to use all but the CAI and header.

Shoot son, not hardly. If I do anything right it's probably reading a lot, figuring out who knows what, and listening to them. I also try really hard to understand why they are saying something so when a slightly different situation comes around, I can figure it out for myself. I must say that almost everything I've learned about the SR20 powered cars has come from reading the SE-R Mailing List. Hell, my car was bone stock when I got on that list 5 years ago.

Yeah, I've been really busy since I finished the article. I have been meaning to shoot some photos, but just half-assed photos won't do. I have to detail the car on a weekend that the weather is good. Then I'll take a bunch. For engine photos, I can't do any better than the ones I have in SCC. They have the originals (slides) and I cannot reproduce them anyway since McMullen-Argus has the rights to them for some time.

What would the legalities be if I were to scan the article and pictures and post it on a website for the forum to read? Is that copyright infringement (sp?) or whatever they call it?

If not, I'll do it tomorrow.

Let me know.

Then MrCoilover could read the article, see the pics and be happy. :silly2: Just playn' with ya! But atleast it would be available to all members who do or don't have the magazine.

Absolutely. That is considered publishing. In fact, if McMullen-Argus were to publish it on the web, I would be entitled to addition payment.

You could only legally post it to the web with expressed written consent.

Not necessarily. But what magazine isn't. It has plenty other stuff. I don't see many civics anymore.

george:

Were you able to retain the JWT POP Charger after installing the DET? From the pictures in SCC it looks like you did.

I picked up the mag and still didn't see any pictures of the whole car. Just saw the engine. What up with that. Is your car not cosmetically modified yet or something?

If you read the article, it states that he kept the look of the car as stock as possible. It has been lowered a bit and has some aftermarket rims that are quite stock looking. His web site had a few pics of the car, but I do not think he has posted any more recent shots of the exterior as of yet.

George, how's 'bout some new exterior shots for the man. Did you wash the car yet.

Well now, I guess you'll just have to wait and see won't you?
