Re: Ferrari 458 GT3 1/24

thank u all guys. will try to do my best

for now, the rear is keeping its shape..

real one as ref pic:

the gt3 has a interesting rear wheel arch fixed with screws.Did it over the milliput part using a plastic dime. Always sorry for the quality pic, but I waste more time in keeping and rework pics than make my model hope u like it anyway..

note this car owned by Kessel Racing and driven by Valentino is an older version than the actual ones racing the last Blancpain championship.Time ago the pilot of Dorr Motorsport gave me a very nice link of his brand new GT3 (real lucky guy Hans Peter..) made by Michelotto in Padova. The last gt3īs for 2013 and 2014 are quite different from the car I am making.
All the pics I am using as reference can be seen at my pubblic link here:
https://plus.google.com/photos/10891...artnerid=pwrd1

Maybe this can help also the many that want to build this car using the upcoming model from carrera digital posted by Tom.

Re: Ferrari 458 GT3 1/24

very good news today for me.
Just few days ago I sent an email to Michael from HD, asking if maybe they will make in future those wheels. This cause at today I just seen 3d and no idea if and when they could be available.
I like a lot all the new wheels they are making.Last cast are also excellent printed in resin.

Michael Wang confirmed me HD will make those wheels as approved today by company. He also was very thanksful for the good idea I gave him. Just hope they maybe will also make the entire 458gt3 car in future. This about wheels is anyway a GREAT help and too good news for me.

Re: Ferrari 458 GT3 1/24

Paulo,

Build looks great, you are making very nice progress. You're body work looks better then what I've managed on mine so far. So I'll be watching closely so I can correct my mistakes.

Also, great news about the wheels. I've been looking for a set of these for mine as well with no luck so far. Will be nice to hopefully get a set soon.

Re: Ferrari 458 GT3 1/24

little progress

little shade of primer on the area. Even if drill and shape milliput areas is a hell I think I like it
