You know the bad thing about giving money. Most of the homeless in Asian country are control by gangs. All the money they collect do not go towards their savings but rather mob's hand. Good thing that isn't the case here in North America.

i used to work in the heart of the getto in detroit michigan and i never gave money out for the same reson PM said there ether going to do one of 3 things with it

1. buy alchohal
2. guy a tobaco product
3. go down the street to the local crack house


but i have given money to "disabled" people because they cannot help them selfs.

even though most of them are crack heads and it's their fault their homeless, i don't like change so i'll throw it their way

I usually don't see any though, only when i go to like Toronto.... cause i'm also usually in suburbs, like somebody else said

One of my friends told me that a homeless guy actually gave him money once.

when i was in Ottawa, this girl was askin for money and she looked all homeless with ripped clothes so i gave her a dollar..... later that night, i freakin saw her in an HMV music store buying a couple CDs

I couldn't believe it, she was wearing like normal clean clothes buying more than one CD

yup. poser people. no i don't give money to those people. i believe EVERYONE can work to earn money. everyone can learn.

When i was in Germany it was freakin crazy.... I saw a lady drive up in a Mercedes and dropped a little like 6 year old girl off on the street to beg for money!! no joke!
