Yes, "scratchbuild the interior" is the biggest point of this project.
I was thinking about this and wanted to do this for long time.
then I chose this Miata as test case.
Basically I'll use only styrene sheets and putty.
it's going to be a hard work, but I don't know how is it going to be...

Is it going to be mid-engined? It looks like youve opened up the back for an engine. Looks great. Can't wait to see some more progress.

BTW how the hell do yuo guys handle the polyester putty with your fingers? I have Tamiya's polyester putty and I only use it for filling holes...I never knew it could be used for body work.

but I think there're not much difference between this and any other polyester putty.

This is called 'Mori Mori', there is another type called 'Dori Dori' (white color after dry). But the fume is deadly...

For fine detailing, I prefer using this:

You can control the drying time! Perfect for filling, and volume build-up! Eventhought, the color is in light purple, I have no problem with any primer!

If it hasn't been done yet, somebody should put together a tutorial on how to use polyester putty for making flares and widebodies etc....

Applied primer for make sure the body style, it seems to needs more putty work.
I'll make a pillar behind seets like Viper. still consider about a rear trunk
and fuel cap position.
going to bury fog lamps in front bumper.
don't start interior yet...
