Hey I can't make out who makes the MKIII kit, been looking for one for awhile to make a replica of my 1:1 95 Sport, or Super Sport as I call it after all the upgrades.

The different parts of the front bumper are now filed with epoxy putty (Tamiya).
Mirrors are in place, I had to redo the mirror mount to fit the Golf door. If you remember I'm usign mirrors from a Mitsubishi EvoV WRC.

I also took the intercooler from a Skyline to fill the big "mouth" of the bumper.

And a better pic of the rear

When you will read this, sideskirts have been modified/shortened to fit the Golf chassis and 75% of the putty has been sanded.

More pics soon.

Just like a real car moulding, creative & crazy

xav
more pics pls as I also own this car right now !

Ok, I'm back after 3 weeks of holidays.
3 weeks without computer so without AF but I took my tools and kits with me.
Everybody wants pics, here they are...

First 2 pics of the body before the major modifications and sanding

You see there the resin sideskirts and the begining of sanding the bumpers.

Now everything is glued, sanded, tranformed and I've put a first fine layer of primer.

Hood transformed with the lip.

and the body, bumpers, trunk, ...

a zoom on the right mirror

a zoom on the right side skirt

I couldn't resist to put the rims to see how it will look like when finished.

Hope you like it.

Edit: it's absolutely not finished, I have still some sanding and filling to do. So don't be afraid of the actual aspect.
