i bet you dont even have one. POSER :apuke:
Why would i be a poser?! I bought just bought my damn car and it lacked alittle power so i freeed up some air by adding the injen cold air intake and installed the apexi dual n1 catback..there was really no downtime in the install so i could get those in..because i am WORKING..and i rely on my car alot since its a daily driver.. i cant afford downtime..so i havent had time to install my turbo kit...the engine swap is for the FUTURE..as in later when i desire more power as when i start course racing again..I had alittle accident with my 89 300zx that had a VG30DET installed into it. So i havent had a track run in a long time. D1 is my main goal not this august but possibly next years season. I dont understand how i sound like a poser..I do have a 98 240 and yes i did buy it myself..wana see a picture? Click here ..and get off my ass already. shiz...

what he's saying is that the injen cold air intake is a waste of fucking money because you have a turbo that needs to be put in. now the intake is a waste of money, really tho, that was stupid

wow, gettin way off track here. my question for wingsofwar is is, if you're doing a ka24de(t) why do an sr swap. i'm not sure if you're racing or not but if i spent the $$ on that i'd keep it (i'm not flamin you, just asking since the ka24de(t) is the way i wanna go). someone also mentioned gettin a Miata, if you wanna race, especially autoX, get the miata. i havea customer with a supercharged miata, running a performance coil-over kit. it definatly rocks! i woulda got one, but i'm not a convertible fan.

i got the car about a month ago. a guy i know that owns a garge soldit to me for 1200 because he didn't feel like puting new brake rotors on it. its in very good condition (except the paint) starts right up with only 80k miles on it, so far the only thing sdone to it besides the new brakes is a set of yokohama avs es100's. a few more parts are in the mail adn should be here by next week.

What are you talking about?

Head getting cut off? Its the same thing if you put the soft top up. When you put the hard top on, its like putting on 40 or so lbs, BUT there is increased chassis stiffening.

You're the ONLY person I've EVER heard call it nasty looking... I'd honestly say its an improvement on the rag top, it makes it look like a mini FD. Seen the concept pictures for the Miata coupe? Both NA and NB? It takes after the FD...

And how do I know all this?

I own a 90 Miata thats going turbo in about 2-3 weeks.

The injen cold air intake i bought used, for $50 from a guy who had a 96 240sx that had alittle car accident and sold his intake..it was good condition so i just went and grabbed it just to see what it does..I know that its pointless getting the intake when theres gona be a turbo installed.. but you have to understand..I bought the car...then the week of i added the intake and exhaust i didnt purchase the turbo until later. Chronologicly it makes sense..i didnt buy everything at once..if i did..then you have permission to beat the living shit out of me.

The Camera is alittle broken, the dates all weird and the lense is waaayy off. and it has quality picture issues..im gona buy my a digital camera probably tomorrow..if i get off work early.

My signature has a KA24DE(T) i was just messing around with photoshop and since i do have a turbo kit ready to be installed into my ka24de i just put it in there..just for shits and giggles..not trying to pose or nothing..i was just screwing around.

Because i tend to push my cars limits, i dont know if a ka24de(T) would last as long when pushed hard compaired to the SR20DET that is already turbo efficient..both can be tuned very heavly and give very promising numbers to the ground. Yet because i drive hard for long periods of time, it seems to me that the SR20DET would last longer built for high speed circuit racing, in the endurance by both engines the sr20 sounds more efficent than the KA. I use to own a 91 Honda CRX and i had a ZC installed into it...as well as a replacement b16 engine just in case the engine did not last long as i expected it. My 300zx also had a VG30ET on the side just incase i pushed my VG30DET to hard. I do wear my body damages with pride, and i cant wait to push my 240 to the point where im in danger of a accident. (Note** i do not street race, i know its fun but i wana be able to race to my fullest without endangering others)

Iv also noticed theres alot of flaming on this forum...i never had trouble like this with the Z forums...they always seem very nice.
