Behold!!! My 03 Corvette Z06!!!

I still have the Talon but might sell it just because this thing is soooo much more fun to drive!

That is awesome!

One of the few American cars I wish was more available here in an affordable way.

It's a whole step up on the Talon too

Re: Bought a new toy...

Yes it was a little bit of an upgrade from the Talon. lol...

The thing is very fast and hooks up good considering how light it is. Low 11's at the track with just a different intake, headers, full exhaust and a slight tune... Imagine this thing once I do a twin turbo setup on it! I'm hoping to drop into the high 9's with it once everything is actually said and done... Doubt it'll happen for a few years tho until I get the funds together to do it correctly. I wanna keep it reliable like it is now too...

My plan is to get my hands on an LS7 and build the motor for boost. Once I get it all done and where I am ready to drop it in the car then I will park it and do the motor swap and twin turbo setup all at once... How's 20lbs of boost sound? lol...

**EDIT**

Did I mention the LS7 has 505hp stock? My goal is 700+hp... Should be easily obtainable.

Re: Bought a new toy...

I doubt I'll sell the Talon anytime soon. The only way I would is if somebody offered me the right amount of money. Otherwise, there is no reason to sell it. It's not like I'm hurting for the money or have any debt. Just gonna keep my toys...

Next on the list is a big garage to keep everything in!

There's not much opportunity here either. Anywhere else I would be making almost double the money I am actually making right now...

In reality, I don't make that much money really. It took me many years of screwing up and fixing of things before I realized a big key to having money is to manage it right. Now everyone's situations will be different and will vary in how they can manage it. For me, I was in the best position right now to buy the Vette because I have everything else paid off and only have minimal expenses.

I looked at ways to cut costs drastically on some of my bills... I was able to cut 25% off my cell phone bill with a discount thru work. I was able to cut my insurance rates by almost 75% by switching companies while retaining my same old policy coverages, which is great. Between just those two items I was able to have an extra almost $200 a month in my pocket.

I stopped eating out so much at restaurants and fast food joints and found nearly another $200 a month there...

In the end when you look at it all from a management perspective, I'm only spending an extra $80 a month to own the Vette from all the reorganization of the money I was already spending elsewhere... Plus I have been able to bank extra cash on top of other recent cuts and adjustments I've made in just the last 2 months.

I think everyone should have the opportunities to learn how to adjust their current spending and manage their money in such a way that they can enjoy the things in life that they want to...

Sorry guys, I guess I got a little off topic... Anyone can feel free to PM me or hit me up via FB, emails, text, etc if they wanna talk about it some more. It's a great feeling knowing that you can afford things you didn't think you could before.

Re: Bought a new toy...

Re: Bought a new toy...

Very nice, very very nice. You are right sharp with the photography. Is your zo6 fender badge on crooked? I would be the asshole to try and point something out on a great car

Re: Bought a new toy...

No, it's not on crooked. The treeline reflection is on a hill so it does make it look crooked in the picture...
