Something about this thread being a pointless repost.

Anyway back on topic:

I too watch Family Guy on Cartoon Network, and I too am getting tired of watching the reruns. I want to see more shows!
Meg: "Chris, you're hogging all of the fans!"
Chris: pauses for a second then responds "Yeah, well you're hoggin all the ugly!"

Awesome show.

It's alright, definitely has it's moments. The more I see it the more I like it. I really hate the singing in it though. And I don't like how his chin looks like a sac. Anyway, I'm just pissed off because they put that on instead of Home Movies...now THAT'S the funniest show. It's so damn sarcastic.

I've never seen home movies, but I wanted to when I saw the commercials. But how could it be funnier than Family Guy???

Remember when Peter got too in touch with his femenine side, then went to Stewie's crib and tried to breast feed him?!?! When I saw Stewie's face after he realized what he was sucking on, I almost choked on my own tounge laughing so hard!!!!

*Stewie retrieves his box of grenades from Lois*

"VICTORY IS MINE!"

*Runs out of the room with them in hand*

*Explosion*"DAMN YOU ALL!!!"

ps. I too HAD to buy the DVD set when I saw it at Circut City. no hesitation. No regrets.

Yes I've seen that one, quite funny.
Um...Home Movies and Family Guy are different kinds of shows I suppose. Home Movies is...dare I say...smarter. Really. It's more of a dialogue thing, whereas Family Guy is visually funny (also dialogue, but most just doesn't make sense). However, I do like that show, and I plan to watch it in 10 minutes when it comes on.

I think I know what you mean. Family Guys dialogue doesn't always make complete sense, but that's one of the greatest things about the show! When I go back to school, I'll try to catch home movies. I'm back at mom's house for the summer and she still refuses to get cable.

Yeah....Family Guy is one of those shows that is so different and stupid that it's funny. I hated it at first, 'cause most of the episodes I had seen had a lot of singing in them. Plus most of the show is compiled of flash backs. Like last night's, Peter was suddenly in WW2 (eating chips). Heh, whatever...I laughed. I do like it now.
But definitely see Home Movies...if you like dry and sarcastic humor, you'll like it. It also looks funny, facial expressions and all. Along the same lines as Dr. Katz I suppose.

"Oh no!"

"Oh no!"

"OH YEAH!!!" *Looks around and sllllooowly walks back out.*

It would have been funnier if people rushed him and started drinking him.
