I have a custom 3 inch mandrel bent high flow cat, trust exhaust, 4 inch tip.

I love the sound and the performance it gives.

there is a lot more scientifical approach to deisigning a good exhaust system. Not just using big pipes, or mandrel bends, or placing it so it clears things. People use formulas that are beyond my concept(im just a simple florida boy) to measure flow rates and angles of piping, how far they should be placed what angle etc for proper flow rates.

Your usual custom exhaust shop doesn't do anything to this sort. A good companies aftermarket system actually has some research and testing done to it for the best design, overall IT IS better and can give u a few more HP..... a custom one will still give u gains...... but you can get better.

exhaust is something I wouldnt mind spending money on and getting the right thing..... you can cut corners on other things if you want to but exhaust is kinda important in my book.

well if your wanting an exhaust for a NA 240 then one good choice could be the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust. costs like $600 but its nice and has a deep clean sound. if you want one for a turbo 240 they have a turbo version for it which I believe is like $700, not for sure though.

i found the HKS hi-power at www.optauto.com for $496.00. i want to go with a name brand that actually uses auto racing as its proving ground. like sr20detpower said, there is a science to venting exhaust gases.

when ordering make sure you know the diameter of the catback.
You wouldn't want to purchase a catback meant for NA when you're actually running turbo/gonna...

nice name! and nice choice of exhaust. the Nur is a beauty. the reason i want the GReddy/Trust DD so badly is you can't see the cannister. it's way far back, so all you see are the straight pipes. looks incredible.

I don't really like the Greddy DD's. I kinda like the look of the canister as its just something that goes along with the style of vehicle. When you see the DD's from the side or you don't even know what DD's are and see that exhaust on the street.... It'll just looks like two long chrome tips that a lot of people put on Trucks/V8's......

The N1 canister is about the biggest I like from Apexi. There duals are even nicer because its two smaller ones and is one of the best looking exhausts from a cosmetic standpoint on the 240sx... and it works nice for everyone who has em.
