Well my name is Cody Fassler, nicknamed Fasshole, and I, well, I use to drive a 1977 Caprice Classic 2 door with a 350 4 barrel, 3 spd auto, it got 5 mpg and had the worst tires ever. It had dents, a horribley bent and rebent passenger side front fender, 170,000 miles, btw it is grey. It had all the amentities that that old of a car could have, including a rear window defroster, A/C, etc. I put a GM radio from a late 80's olds, had two different types of 6 by 9 speakers, and two shitty front ones that one of whom was blown. the Speedo was off quite a bit, and blah blah blah blah blah, well yea, now i drive a 1993 Ford Ranger XLT regular cab with a 5 spd manual. It's a nice truck, although i'd like more room, but oh well.

Unhappy I drive a beater as well!!

Hi. I'm Antonio. I drive an '88 Astro van with ???,000 thousand miles on it. The water pump went out earlier tonight, the passenger side window won't go up, the aircleaner cover is missing, the exhaust is loud, the headliner is gone, the lights are wired funny, the paint is chipping off in places, and the heat barely works. BUT it was free, it has a nice CD player, decent mileage, and it was free.

with the miles on my camaro it should be a beater by now , 90% of 84's are by now , but look !!! no body rot and it runs great 178,000 miles later. Just gotta take care of it . Now the firebird I bought that I was driving while the tranny was being rebuilt , now thats a beater. 84 trans am , lg4 v8 (145hp)?? smokes all kinds of colors , rot in the inside of the rear panels , and burns more water than it leaks , bend left rear wheel. I gave it to my girlfriend hehe , and she loves it, ok i guess its not that bad. She had an 87 chrysler 5th that turned oil into a foam and it leaked every possible fluid. interior was shredded and rotten , ya know I like the firebird more now lol.

Hi. I'm still Antonio. I drive a '91 Grand Prix with 99,000 miles on it. It has only a small dent in the rear door, won't pass the smog check, needs a few sensors replaced (so do I ), always starts, has all the original paint, missing 1 hubcap, Aiwa CD Head unit, 800 watt Sony Explod amp, 2 12" Punch woofers, 4 gauge Monster cable wiring, Driver's side inside door latch won't work, passenger's side window won't roll down.:alien2:

Oh, it won't work for my wife, only me.:flash: I have no problems with the Max; it has 204k miles and runs like a top, just needs a few small dents removed

Talking got you all beat

Hi my name is Scott and I drive a beater car. I have a 1982 Eldorado with over 150,000 miles on it. Im not sure if these are original but thats what it is. The car was originally brown and at some point before I bought it, it was painted black but there were spots where the brown show through. I repainted it red, white, and blue like the USA flag after sept. 11, since then the paint has peeled off bad on the drivers side and I screwed up the paint on the trunk so now its just primer gray. I have no hub caps, there is a small dent on the front drivers side and the trim down the side is missing. The headliner is stapled on and the dash is cracked and the back seat can come out with a push.
I have a rear view mirror that wont stay on no matter what and I have no raido at all-just a hole in the dash. The air condishner doesn't work (being in North Texas in the summer time sucks) and the windshield wipers seem to have a mind of their own when turned on. Also the drivers side window doesn't want to work at times, it goes down but not up all the way.
It runs just fine if you put water or antifreeze in it, because the water pump has a bad leek. Im not sure why this car has not just uped and died yet???
I need a new car!!

Scott

I keep it partly out of sentimental reasons. Its the first brand new car I ever bought. And partly because it handles winter driving better then any of the others.
