i got like 5 bucks a week when i was in elementary school, then it went to 10. i used to get it during the summer just for being alive, now i only get it during school to pay for lunch or if i do some chores. but i get paid 20 bucks to mow the lawn, but thats stopped now that the snow will be here soon. i bet gang$tarr's allowance is like 300 bucks a week...

Yup I seem to be with the majority. Nominal sum for a weekly allowance until I was legal working age then nothing. If I wanted something I had to save up. Great satisfaction quotent when I bought my first car, '79 Datsun P/U. Damn it was fun.
Most of the time I'd save up for something I really wanted, then by the time I had enough I wouldn't buy it. Suddenly I didn't think I needed it anymore.

I used to get 20 cents a week for brining in garbage cans, but half of that had to go into that bank... So I ended up getting 10 cents a week. Then it just stopped. So now i get no allowence. But I do get $15 a week for lunch, so if I dont eat lunch, I get $15 a week.:licker:

Okay what is it then?
Mine currently is 5 bucks a week, but I have to do very little. I also work, so my net income per week is about $60-80, which ain't bad for a Grade 11 student.
