Well, first off cut the front mount off. Next, there is two sets of holes for he rear mount. Mount it in the holes that are closest to the drivers side. What mount kit are you using ?

im using ebay generic mounts, tahts all i could afford. i got the rear mount on and the passenger side mount. but the passenger mount looks all off like the engine is being pulled backtoward the firewall. then i tried to put the drivers side mount on but the engine is too far back. like the engine is angled with the tranny more forward than the front of the engine, with the front of the engine more toward the firewall. and that stupid front chassis mount is stoping the front of the engine from moving forward so i can get the driver side mount on.

im just gonan cut that front mount off.

thanks for the help everyone

all friends that i know that have b series motors in there hatchs and REx's they didnt use the front mount, in fact most of them have after market headers on their cars and they get in the way of the mount so they just chopped it off. back and sides and tranny mounts. that all you need.

I rather have 4 mounts than 3. Thats why i'm using HCP. It reduces all that vibration and everything. Header will fit no problem.

It's fine to run 3 mounts, no way in hell that 4th mount is going to keep the motor from twisting out of the other mounts. All the B swaps that i have done into CRX's i always made my own mounts, gotta love the welder.

We had to bash the fuck out of my front crossmember to get my dc sports 4-1 header to fit. the 4-2-1 headers i've heard clear it fine.

dude honestly, you are over the front mount, my buddy put a B16 in his CRX and his header got in the way of the front mount so they broke it off, well then they couldnt get the back mount in either, so they just left it like that, well he drove it like that for about 6 months, and all that happened was his exhaust shook, and the motor would rock back and forth when he reved it.

if the drivers side mount looks all cockeyed when its attached to the motor in comparison to where it bolts up on the chasis, then you more than likely need the engine mount bracket off the 91 teg, thats what happened with my b20.
if its a 2 piece 4-2-1 header it should clear fine i had no problems with mine, other than having to cut off about 2 inches on the header and reposition the flange so it would line up with the cat
