Nope, its cause there was dirt in the tank, me and my dad rigged it up ourselves. Heres a pic of the engine, you can see em on the left side by the carbs.

and a pic of the car itself

PWMAN is right. higher octane gas does NOT give you more power. It's like a placebo really, only makes you THINK that it does. Now if you had a turbo, supercharger, nitrous, or changed the compression of your engine it would be justified to get the top end octane as it will prevent knock - this is done by additives to the fuel to resist knocking. IF you are noticing improved gas mileage or improved performance, that is typically an indication that your car needs a tune-up, and a tune-up is cheaper than paying all the extra money for the "performance" you'll see. Unless, like stated above, you're running turbo, nitrous, supercharger, or changed engine compression - it's a waste of money to buy higher octane gas than what the manual recommends.:o

wow ... i mixed 4 gallons 89 octane with 4 gallons 91 octane and it owns! i broke LOOSE shifting into 2nd yesterday, ive only been able to chirp it like once before but i sat there and span for like 3 seconds... those of you with 2nd gen integras know its damn near impossible without clutch upgrades or FI

Ummm, thats not the reason it spun, I can tell you that much. Must have just been the surface you were on happen to be slick.
I used to own the same car you have, a 90 GS teg, and I could smoke the tires through second gear on the stock clutch.
I sold my teg though:cry:
But I still have a 88 RS and a 2000 LS

no i filled up with 91... not 87 or 89, i dunno why it works better with 90 than 87, 89, or 91... works even better than 91 with octane booster

manual says "Use Higher Than 86 Octane" which basically means anything at any gas station that isnt diesel but my car runs like ASS on 87 octante plus that crap clogs your fuel filter and fuel injectors bad..
