We (me and the rest of the Porsche team) let people sit in the Porsches at my college's aut show, but the Benz people and Lexus people were tight and wouldn't let people sit in them.

Thanks for all the great pictures from the Auto Show. Looks like some cool stuff, and there were some aspects, like the muscle cars, that were absent from the NY Auto Show back in April. That sucks!! I actually saw this cool show of old cars turned hot rods (like 30's and 40's models) up in Vermont on September 22nd with my buddy Ross. Some of them sported the old school HUGE roots blowers!! They looked like easliy 200 cfm units, and they don't use the flat drive belts, but rather cogged belts like timing belts to prevent slipping. Put my puny JRSC M62 to shame!!! And probably the highlight in my book was this old Chrysler with a Viper V10 (although it did seem a little crazy to hook a 450-horse engine up to a 4-speed automatic). It kicked ass. In fact a lot of the cars, besides using large V8's, used very contemporary technology like aftermarket fuel injection systems, MSD ignitions, etc. kris I hadn't come across those pictures of the Civic Type R that you posted. Looks "a little nicer" (that's a very sarcastic understatement - though I know with some work, a Civic Si could be dressed up to look very much like that Type R) than the Civic Si we're slated to get. |

For all of you FNF lovers.
This is the Berlina Black S2000 in the movie. However you will not recognize it. http://www.speedoptions.com/features_car.asp?id=42 |

I hated 98% of the cars in the movie, but that S2000 was one of the very few that I did like. Except for the NOS, of course.
