![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the nice comments guys. Here are a few more photos, taken during test assembly and before painting, I test painted using a trial Bell Housing with Tamiya Primer, then a few light coats of Alcad Pale Gold. The disc is made of 5 parts : 1. Back of Disc with thin strips of plastic cut and super glued on the inside to create the slotted affect once assembied. 2. Front of the disc which was hand drilled, which seems must cleaner than using the milling machine. 3. Bell Housing, machined to size, drilled for the studs and countersunk at the back. The holes for the 10 off small bolts were jig drilled thro' to the front of the disc. 4. The small fixings holding the Bell Housing to the disc are from Sakatsu supplied by David @ http://www.scaleracecars.com/ which are just the right size for this application. 5. M1.6 Countersink screws were then superglued from the back into the Housing for the wheel studs. You also have a small boss which was made to fit inside the housing, this is tapered so when the central screw and nut is done up it holds the lot in place. |
