Hey Nismo what cf decals do you use. I know it is a little off topic...

I have museum collections cf decals and I just cant get them to take the shape of any curves... Microsol wont even dent them and alcohol just softens them alittle.

Either me or the decals ar bad ( I am betting on myself ) but I am pretty sure there is a method to make those decals do what you want them to do...

I said it before saing it again (in a different way) ... this is one sweet piece of work(wo)manship...

I use Polly Sol. I like to use it with 3:1, water:solution, because it's kinda melt away the decal if I don't mix with water. It's very good because I can touch the decal when I apply the solution on the decal, move around, fit and even press them against the curves. Great stuff. I got it from www.hobbylinc.com.

I never use microsol before so I don't know how strong is it.

Re: Progress: Xanavi R34 with VQ30DETT engine

unfortunately the it is mostly trial and error. I use the solution on a scrap decal from the sheet first to make sure it doesnt melt it away. if it is ok then I use it. the effect changes from decal to decal

do u use aftermarket CF or kit decals...

Great job with the decals. Maybe some tips or a detailed insight into how to apply the complex decals for newbies like me?
