Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

I think this is the most amazing progress thread I've ever seen!!!
Your work is really inspiring me and I really want to build something NOW

Mark how do you display and/or "protect" (against dust or people who shouldn't touch models... ) your finished 1/12 models? I don't think you would let them to collect dust, would you ?. I am curious because I'm searching for a 1/12 display case (for my MP 4/6), but I wasn't really successful so far...

I have a showroom of glass cases in my home. Never had anyone try to open them yet... - Mark

Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

Weber Sidedrafts
Injectors actually. 30 plus parts in the "rear" one (actually in the foreground & left) and not quite as many in the forward one (right). So far... The main throttle bodies are all that are used from the kit, (modified). The red & black switch is one of the actuator switches for the NOS system. The synchronizing adjustment screws have springs around them to keep them from moving on their own, they also have Phillips heads... - Mark

Godly? Unearthly? I don't think even those can describe this project.

Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

I think inspirational is prolly the best word.

Mark, How many other models have you built of this complexity? Can we see them?

You're welcome and Thank You.

No, the steering wheel is all aluminum painted to look like varnished rosewood, with C/F decal for the center ring and spokes... - Mark

I've seen the red and day-glo yellow 7s in person - everything that looks incredible in these pictures looks alsolutely AMAZING in real life.

Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

Wow... the detail in your kits is unreal... amazing work, keep it up.

OK... just went through every page, and part of your parts thread after posting ^^^ that little bit... I don't have words to describe in my vocabulary to describe what I just saw. It is just awe inspiring.

The fact that you put so much effort, dedication, and detail into this project should serve as an example to us all. I still cant even begin to imagine how hard it is to make some of those super small parts like those guages and such, my hands could never be that steady.

Wow, just wow... I can't wait to see more.
