Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

Actually I was thinking that too, but everything else looks so gorgeous I didn't like to say... I love the way you've done the carpets. Surgical tape, huh? Might have to try that one.

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

Thanks guys, too much

@enzo: yes I own the 19" SAS rims but actually I planning something cool, also to see a bit of the job I done on PE rotors

@ steve: I guess should be the massive zoom and macro set up: belts are 2.5mm wide, I check in my car and they are 5.5 cm wide... BTW you're right: the problem should be the seat, every one done his CS seat starting from racing stuff know that they come out a bit thiny in the middle.

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

Finally I can work on my preferred stuff: engine details. I'm doin' a second engine to show off the car: it would be a standard 360 engine (no CS) to skip mods and show differences between two versions, but mainly to show engine back!

So let me introduce another son: after Mr.Crocgio, this is Mr.Alternatorgio:

the plan:

So I turned the inner part, where glue PE, it's almost a cylinder 5mm diam x 6 mm long. Placed a strip of 2side tape to help me to keep all togheter:

liked the palmito?

Folded little wings:

Both sides front and back:

Reinforced with a strip of BMF alu:

I wrappened around a thin (0.2mm) strip of alu, to simulate the body

Than I overlapped the part to a 1/1 drawing to identify where I need mountings bolts

Backing done with 1mm diam rod and a little PE square, wrapped around:

Finally done: I guess I'll use in most of my ferraris (and at least on the F430 is visible)

Ciao!

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

OMFG indeed!!!
But now I start to think why haven't any PE makers (S27 CM SMS etc.) done this before. I'd start to worry if I were you Either start selling this with your own mark or copyrigth it or something... your design is so good and the results are so impressive that I bet someone will make profit from it, better be you not? Well, all this rant is headed to convince you to make other ones an you could sell one to me! LOL Really, pleaseeeee!!!!

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

I just need to stop building altogether now.....Gio, your stuff is just insane!! I love it though, such thought put into the smallest details. On a big scale proejct this stuff would be the norm, but in 1/24th scale this much detail is seldom done. Great job! and how about selling us AF'ers a 360CS photoetched detail set?..lol

Edit: I'm just waiting for someone to completely scratchbuild a car in 1/24th scale from photoetch, plastic strip, and machined parts! with the talent we have up here I think its very possible(just remembered your scratch built street rod in large scale GTMike)
