If it helps, I have exchanged a few emails now with #014's former owner and he definitely sold that car to SVAG. All the pieces seem to fit together.

Note: This car doesn't have Gordon Murray's signature on the rear bumper like the Japan car did.

Yup, witnessed and confirmed...unless the serial number plate is fake, and it's some other car with a McLaren body kit or a different McLaren with a paint job.

I saw that exact Veyron at Symbolic Motors in La Jolla earlier last week. There are tons of photos of it floating around on Fchat.

Yeah - it's getting quite a bit of exposure here in the USA with stops at several of the specialty dealers that will be sales outlets for the Veyron.

It sure beats having to jump on a plane to France for a test drive, but I am almost surprised they aren't doing their test drives under more controlled conditions at a closed race track.

i saw it yesterday, amazing car. Sadly I only had my camera phone with me. I did confirm though that the autograph on the mclaren is michael schumachers, i forget if it was confirmed or not yet.
