i just purchased a 90 HF crx w\ B16A motor and i just wanted to know if any USDM b16 parts are compatible with this motor? aftermarket parts as well and Stock parts. like for example...what timing belt do i use? i heard one from a 94 VTEC del sol..is this true? also what type of header for what car? like can i use a 99-00 Honda Civic Si header for my first gen b16 motor? ok thanks for the help...

Timing belt and all aftermarket parts will be the same from any B16A (USDM or JDM).. Its all the same motor.

any b-series part will fit for v-tec with v-tec . GSR parts and Type r parts anything will fit besides the manifold from a gsr.

Well the distributor can "fit" but then you have to convert it from non obd to obd1. About launching...with good tires and clutch you should dump it around 3500.

for the cap and rotor, you need to get the one that would go on a stock CRX. this is because that distributor is made by TEC, and is non OBD. im not positive, but i think later years have different brand distributors, and the rotor and caps from those dont fit.

Yeh your right. The cap and rotor will fit and coil. Not the si distributor though.

Oh and another thing...the only distributor that'll work from usdm is the 90-91 integra distributor but u have to break off the third leg.

see i'm confused cause on other boards they keep telling me to get either an si(99-00civic si) distributor CAP\ROTOR or ask the parts guy to get a distributor cap\rotor from a 93 integra GSR...but you say get it from a crx? will a d16 distributor rotor\cap even fit onto a b16? i thought i have to use only vtec parts ? thanks for the clear up

is there any difference with parts from a 94 DOHC vtec del sol and a 00-99 civic si? i need to get my timing belt changed and i'm not sure what to tell the parts guy. i think they are both the same tho right? but when i looked up B16A parts list...it didn't show anything concerning a 99-00 civic si, it showed only 94 del sol vtec and 90-91 integ parts as parts used for a jdm first gen b16. i think saying 00-99 civic si would be easier and less confusing for the parts guy cause there are many versions of the del sol and he can get parts mixed up. what do you guys think? also...my axles broke last night! what type of axles do i need? can i get replacement stock ones or do i need some type of aftermarket ones? ok thanks for the help...
