Question Newb question on wheels/tires sizes

posted this in the wheel and tire forum, but havent had much luck in the way of replies:

As most of you know, I own a '92 240sx in dire need of a new set of wheels and tires. I saw a set of 5Zigen FN-01R 17x7 rims with a +42 offset and 4X114.3 PCD. My car has the 4-lug pattern but Im worried the rims may be too big or too wide. Will these fit my car? what size/type tires should i be looking for if these fit? Also I plan to upgrade the suspension in soon as well, will this affect my rim/tire choice as well? any help would be appreciated.

i have 4x114.3 17x7 42 offset.

they fit fine. i have 215/45/17 on front and 225's on back... i could prolly fit 225 on the front too. i currently have no rubbing probs with a 2" drop.

yea get 225's, i wish i got them on the front but wasn't sure it would fit. 225's help eliminate the wheel gap too... if you get 225/45/17.
