I Want A Cosworth!!!! Can Anyone help?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am on the search of a life time, i'm out ot find a Ford Escort Cosworth, I'm searching high and low for it but i can't seem to fid one for sale, money isn't really the factor. Can anyone help me to find one, give me sites or somthing, even if i have to import one.

i have spent three months trying to find a cossie for sale in the u.s., preferably on the western side of the u.s., best bet , and to get a better model, import from britian or similar so that you can get a LHD escort, or if you don't mind having rhd, anywhere else . . . . . .. .

ok heres the thing ,....I know follks in the UK that have trouble finding parts for their cossies,
what makes you think your gonna do better in the states,there where only a few thousand vega's made and even fewer had the cosworth engine package, I'd say that just about any C vega that is still around,is either a show car or melted scrap
anyway if you do find one ,I'm sure you will have to import it,or pay alot more than it's realy worth

check out bensrallypage.com. they have a classifieds section where they have street and rally prepped cars. that's where i found mine i dont' think there are any right now, but they pop up every now and then. keep in mind, i think there are only 25 in the US, with half of them being turned into SCCA ProRally cars.

if you're serious (and they still cost a chunk), i believe there's one in Los Angeles that's for sale. with full calif registration, naturally.

parts are easy; i mean you can't run down to pep boys and buy a thermostat, but if you've got another car to drive if/when the cossie breaks, you can get everything you need from grahamgoode.co.uk. they'll fedex it overnite if you really need a part.

the best part of this car is that no one knows, or cares what it is. looks like an econobox, especially without the silly whale tail like mine.

located in california, with current california registration. one of the cars like mine that were brought in by Sun International. Full EPA and DOT legal. 25,000 miles. Imperial Blue (similar to WRX Blue). Black leather. Moonroof. Rear whale spoiler. Quad motorsports headlights. not cheap.
