How much to get my seats reupholstered?

I wanna get the front and back seats of my 99 Si reupholstered in two tone vinyl (blue/white) and I was wondering how much some sort of upholstery shop would charge for this? Also, any other info you guys who have had ur seats done have please sure, like how long it took, how it turned out, price, etc etc. Thanks a lot.

there's a place around here (Kreative Interior) that is known very well that has a basic package for 595 for seats and door panels.

Theres a lot that depends on price, like what kind of material "theres 1,000's of different kinds" how custom do you want it? I mean its infinite, people always ask that and I compair it to painting a car. You can go to Mayco and spend what $200, I think or go to a totally custom paint shop and spend anyway between 2,000 and 15,000. Its all in what you want, my suggestion is don't go with the cheapest because theres a reason there cheap. Either the material they use sucks or they're work sucks, anyone that knows what there doing and takes pride in there work isn't going to do it for free. My advice is check out there work and go to 3 or 4 shops and get quotes, good luck

I was just thinking a two tone vinyl, very similar to what civic98stunna did on his. Maybe not those two colors, but something similar.

how much u guyz think it will cost to upholster the entire car ? *(besides carpet)* Like all the vinyl on the door panels, dash, and cieling, all in velour w/ the foam paddin like any other material would have. And The seats done in a Mild like exotic design 2 tone, w/white tubing out lines. Easy designs to do, just 2 toned. And the seats, somin that at least feels like Velour, but if velour isnt tough enough to sit on all the time, then somin else - * my cars for show, not performance * ( to all u wonderin ) just a guesstament. And would price be cheaper if you went out and bought all the material yerself and gave it to the pros' to work w/ ? Thanks

A shop in Seattle qouted me as $5000-$6000 for what I wanted to do, it was pretty mcuh everything also, sans carpet. 2 tone seats, piping, embroidered stitching, Dash, you know, everything. No shop down here I found would mess with the dash or door panels, thats why I tried them. Didnt do it, I can't afford that, LOL. Way outta my range. I dunno how outragious or reasonable it is, but they do real good work, so I guess its npt that bad a price, but how knows. It was way outta my range, so I am tryin to figure out how to spurce up the interior and do paint, vinyal wraping/dying myeslf. But I guess I dont car about screwin anything up while learning, so you know. Tryin to use my car an a guinea pig. :sun:

Hey, if you figure out how to reappolster the seats, or sew a cover, let me know. Maybe I'll let my girlfriend sew the seat for me, I don't know how to sew, lol

5,000-6,000????? OMG that's rediculous, I've done whole hot rods with ultraleather "very expensive $100's a yard" for $8,000 and that was making everything from scratch. I made the door panels, kick panels, headliner, custom front and back seats, center console, carpet everything. So whoever you went to is trying to stick it to you good. I'd say a normal semi custom import should cost no more than $3,000 and thats with everything done.

My first job in the Air Force was to do body work and Upholstery, but I got tired of painting things green and blue all the time so I changed jobs. Then when I got stationed here I got a second job working for a custom upholestry shop. I've worked on some really cool hot rods some of the best on the east coast. It was a good experiance I have posted how to do almost everything on here so do a search how to do it. A lot of stuff I can't really explain how to do, you either have to know how to do it or have someone show you. Its just to hard to explain and there are so many different things to know, thats why people that do a nice job charge so much to do it cause most people can't do it. Good luck
